This is the thread to introduce yourself on!
I'm John Miller, formerly of AppStateNation.com. I graduated from App State in 2007 with a degree in business management. My hometown is Charlotte,NC where I went to Weddington High. I grew up playing basketball and soccer but watching football. My father and 2 aunts also went to Appalachian State so it's basically a family tradition at this point.
I look forward to working with Mike to make this the best App State site we can possibly make.

Hello, I'm Rico and I like to party.
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting
classic Hot Rod reference
It's great to be a Mountaineer!
I am Bob Drury. 2000 app communications grad. I am currently in Charlotte, but building a house in Weddington.
I'm J, class of 2012 with a degree in Building Science. I work in Charlotte, but live in the ITL (Indian Trail). I bleed Black and Gold.
Wow lots of guys from South Charlotte. Welcome to the site I hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you would like to see more/less of.
My name is Jerry Saleeby. I am a 1973 graduate with a degree in Political Science. I retired from teaching after 35 years at Franklin Co HS in Rocky Mount, VA. I still am an adjunct instructor at VWCC in Roanoke.
Hey Jerry good to see you on here, welcome to the new site.
Rob here, class of 1992 from North Wilkesboro. Moved to Ohio after college and became an Ohio State fan also. Been on the Ohio State 247 board (bucknuts.com) since its inception 26 months ago, love the 247 platform and glad to see App on here.
Been living in Northwest Arkansas since 2007, nice place, just a long way from home! Looking forward to the Sun Belt move.
Looks like the Sun Belt will work out a lot better for you with Arkansas State and Arkansas-Little Rock not too far away. Welcome to the App State site!
Robert here a true Boone local I have followed app since high school and a huge fan of ASU. I am also a local business owner.
Hey guys, my name is Rob. I grew up in Alpharetta, GA. I have been to Boone a few times but have never seen the campus or anything. When I was in HS I received a little bit of attention from App State but I was severely injured and that was the end of that. However, they were the only ones who followed up with me to make sure I was doing ok and was recovering and that made me fall in love with App State. The people up there are amazing and I will never forget that.
I hope this site prospers and same to the Mountaineers!
Thanks for that Rob!
Hi. Fan of your work against scUM a few years back. Still makes me smile.

DG aka AppMan. 1977 grad, season ticket holder & Yosef Clubber since 1979. I am one of those who was into App before App was cool. I'm a :00 guy. Sat thru many a game in Conrad Stadium with 5,000 in attendance during pouring rain, cold, sleet, and sometimes all 3 the same day - until the end. I think ASU's "real" color is Old Gold - not yellar, ASU's "real" mascot is a live person dressed up as a mountain man - not some white bearded cartoon character, and our "real" logo is the one from before 1983. I started selling Vintage Yosef (as they like to call him) magnets in the parking lot during the 2004 season in a campaign to bring back our beloved logo. It took 7 years and the help of a of folks, but we made it happen! Even though I like the Block A on a black helmet, in my perfect world Yosef would be on a Gold helmet. Guess you can say I'm just Old School and proud of it! I've also been fighting to get the Mountaineers back into the highest level of football since the day we were kicked out in 1982. I am thrilled I was allowed to live long enough to see my Apps back where they belong! Happy to be a part of 247 family! As we used to say back in the day... Give 'Em Hell Apps!

Great to have you AppMan, hope you enjoy the site. We're doing our best to make this the best App State site we can possibly make it. I'm not sure what class year my father was but I think it was around that same time period as well.
I know we've got a lot of lurkers on this board we need to get more people posting! If anyone has any ideas/suggestions/comments (good & bad) for us please feel free to post them here!
